If the shop around the corner has a webshop or another digital ordering system, it can join. Put it forward and STUTE will get in touch; once it joins, you can put its products on your list.
This runs through your cause’s account: the request goes out in your name.
Why local
What a donor gives goes to a trader from the same area. The money stays in the neighbourhood instead of leaving for a warehouse on the other side of Europe, and the shop that still has to be there in ten years earns from it.
A local shop knows the cause buying from it. It knows which youth team plays down the road and what the street needs, it throws something in now and then, and it stays reachable when something goes wrong. That cannot be ordered from a platform without an address.
Whoever sells here works under the labour and environmental rules that apply here and pays taxes here. It is not always the lowest price on the internet, but you know what sits behind that price — and for a donation that counts double.
